Welcome to my page about my dream car, a this 1981 Volvo 242 DL. It is now mine, I just have to get a trailer for it so I can take it to autocrosses, etc. Working on that now. The car really is beautiful, it handles like it is on rails.

Autocrossiong the car is a blast, it's quick, but still not as quick as it should be. Some has to do with the gearing...and downshifting into 1st on sharp turns isn't easy. But I enjoy driving the car as often as possible!

I've got new bumpers front and rear that I need to put on the car, as well as a new catch can. The bumpers are from a later model 240, and weigh much less.

          Custom 2.5" exhaust system with dual flowmaster mufflers (no cat)
          Nitrous Oxide System, currently jetted to 250 HP Shot
          Dynoed on same engine dyno at 238 HP
   Suspension:
          Custom wound lowering springs
          Custom valved Bilstein shocks
          IPD 1" Sway Bars front and rear
          Custom strut tower bar
          Volvo Titan 17 X 7" wheels with 225/45 PZeros up front and 245/40 Toyo Proxes rear

   Interior/Exterior:
          Konig Racing Seat
          5 Point Racing Harness
          Custom Blue Paint
          Flathood conversion and single round headlamps
