Pyjama Jump

The student Pyjama Jump was a regular event on the streets of Sheffield city centre, usually in November. Hordes of students, who had often only left home a month or two earlier, would descend on the bars and clubs dressed only in nightwear. Most became very drunk, many did plenty of things they would later regret and some would find themselves in the local hospitals suffering from exposure. The event has now ceased - students have decided there are more appropriate ways of raising money for charity. The picture shows a group of students who'd travelled to Sheffield from other cities keeping warm in a phone box.
