Here, we enter the first series of Dragonball GT...
Ten years have passed since the end of Dragonball Z. Ubuu has been training with Gokou. Goten and Trunks are now adults. Gohan's and Videl's daughter, Pan, is now 14 years old. Sataan is balding. Klilyn has a mustache and now has gray hair. There has been no problem on Earth since the defeat of evil Boo...
Pilaf is still gathering the Dragonballs for the wish of world domination. He has finally gathered all seven Dragonballs in all these years and is about to make his wish. All of a sudden, Gokou appears. Pilaf, surprised to see Gokou after all these years, starts to complain and wish that Gokou was still a kid so he could be easier to defeat. Shenlong takes this as the wish and turns Gokou back into a kid. Pilaf runs off again and is never seen again in this series.
Gokou returns to his house and tells about what has happened. Mr. Popo appears and tells Gokou about the seven Black Star Dragonballs hidden in space. Gokou plans that he will find these Dragonballs to restore himself to his normal form. (The Dragonballs of Earth can only be used to grant a wish once a year.) But, with more surprising news, Mr. Popo tells that these Dragonballs must be gathered within a year, or the Earth will explode! Gokou and Trunks get on a space capsule to set voyage upon these new mysterious Dragonballs. Little do they know that Pan has snuck aboard the capsule and has accidently damaged one of the engines.
The space capsule crashs into many planets. In these planets, our heroes get the Dragonballs one by one. I will not include these scenes in this summary because they are too minor to be significant. I will only include the main events that happened. (It is these boring short scenes that made people hate Dragonball GT at first.) During this time, Gokou and Trunks reach Super Saiyan form for the first time in Dragonball GT!!! As for Pan, maybe later... On one of the planets, our heroes meet Gill, a little robot who swallowed the Dragonball radar. As a result, our heroes have to take him on their journey since he is the only one who is able to detect the Dragonballs.
Our heroes land on another planet. Here, Gill seems to have betrayed our heroes because he led them into his master's, Dr. Myuu's, planet. Dr. Myuu is an evil scientist who wants the bodies of some strong beings so he can create stronger robots. Trunks is kidnapped. Meanwhile, Gokou spends his time fighting Ruudo, a creation of Dr. Myuu, and Pan spends her time trying to rescue Trunks. After a good number of episodes, Gokou finally kills Ruudo. Back in Dr. Myuu's headquarters, it turns out that Gill has really betrayed his creator. Gill helps Trunks and Pan escape and our crew returns to space.
In Dr. Myuu's headquarters, one of Dr. Myuu's creation is Baby. Baby really the only surviving Tsufuru-jin. His planet and its inhabitants were destroyed by the Saiyans (back at the time the Saiyans worked as mercenaries for Freeza; also at the time of Bardock, Gokou's father). As the only survivor, Baby wants revenge on all Saiyans. (Yes, that includes our heroes!) Dr. Myuu simply found Baby and saved him. Baby alone is too weak to defeat the Saiyans. He must take over a strong body to get power. As Dr. Myuu promises Baby victory, Baby enters and takes over Dr. Myuu's body. At the end, Dr. Myuu is killed in the body invasion.
Our space traveling heroes finally return to Earth with all seven Black Star Dragonballs. Gokou takes them to Mr. Popo to secure them for later. Our heroes reunite are rejoice at the victory of finding all seven Dragonballs. However, Baby has also landed on Earth. Slowly, he takes over the bodies of Trunks, Gohan, and Goten one by one. Although he left their body, he leaves an egg in their brain. This egg takes over the body and makes its victim a zombie of Baby. (When Gohan was Gohan-Bebi, he fought Piccolo and throw a nasty fireball into Piccolo's body.) Baby finally finds a Saiyan whose body is strong enough to satisfy Baby- Vegeta's! Vegeta is taken over and becomes Vegeta-Bebi ! Soon, everyone on Earth become zombies of Baby- with the exception of Sataan, Pan, Boo, Ubuu, and Gokou. Since Mr. Popo is also a victim of Baby, he uses the Black Star Dragonballs to create planet Plant, Baby's home planet, for Baby.
Now as you all can predict, we have some serious fighting going on! (In fact, it is the story of Baby that let Dragonball GT meet the approval of some formerly unsatisfied Dragonball Z fans!) Ubuu faces Vegeta-Bebi, but is defeated. Fat Boo joins in but is killed. Because he is near Ubuu, Boo's spirit enters Ubuu's body. The two fuse and Ubuu learns that he and Boo were originally one!
Gokou faces Vegeta-Bebi. WIth Gokou still a kid, and Vegeta-Bebi an adult, Vegeta-Bebi is stronger and easily defeats the young Gokou. (Meanwhile, Pan is watching the fight.) The defeated Gokou is pulled out of the fight by Kaiou-shin. On Kaiou-shin's planet, Gokou and Kaiou-shin grind substances to create a formula that will make Gokou's tail grow back. (The tail is the main source of power for a Saiyan.) Gokou's tail is only partially grown, so Kaiou-shin puts it to make it reach normal length.
Gokou returns to planet Plant to face Vegeta-Bebi. Even in Super Saiyan form 3 Gokou is unable to defeat Vegeta-Bebi. As Gokou is lying on the ground after taking a blow by Super Saiyan form 3 Vegeta-Bebi, he stares at the Earth. The "full-Earth" acts as a full-moon. As a result, Gokou becomes a giant golden ape (instead of a giant brown ape because it wasn't the moon that made Gokou change into an ape)! Gokou is a lot stronger now, but he is unable to control his body in moon-full stage. He spends his time trashing everything he sees. Gokou starts screaming, and his turn form pulls through. Gokou is now at another stage beyond full-moon; Gokou retains control of his body as Super Gokou 4!!! Vegeta-Bebi is now beaten up. However, a zombie Bulma creates a super magnifying glass for her husband. This magnifies the rays of the full-Earth and Vegeta-Bebi transforms into a giant ape.
Gokou is defeated once again. Meanwhile, Kaiou-shin resolves that Chou-sui water could cleanse people from Baby's zombie eggs. He goes to Dende's and Mr. Popo's palace to get the Chou-sui water. Dende and Mr. Popo are cleansed. Then, this water is given to our Saiyan zombies. Later, to the rest of the world. Gohan, Goten, Trunks, and Pan (now all good) surround Gokou and form a circle. Their energy is donated to Gokou. Gokou and Vegeta-Bebi face each other again. This time, Gokou does a fireball and defeats Vegeta-Bebi. Baby leaves Vegeta's body and is runs to a space capsule to escape. But, Gokou's fireball destroys that as well. At the end, Baby is finally dead!
The Earth is about to explode because the Black Star Dragonballs were already used in a wish for Baby. Our Saiyan heroes waste no time and fly all the inhabitants to planet Plant. Piccolo decides to stay on Earth and die with it because he loves the Earth so much. (He is still injured from the blast from Gohan-Bebi.) The Earth explodes, and so does Piccolo. At the end, the Namek Dragonballs are gathered and the Earth is restored from the wish...
