The following longhouses' itinerary is ex-Hilton Batang Ai Longhouse Resort.

MENGILING LONGHOUSE

Situated by the bank of the Engkari River, it is only half an hour boat ride from the Batang Ai Resort. Explore the surroundings, including a fish catchery; chance to meet the local inhabitants and interact in their day to day activities.

Situated on a steep hill along the Engkari river, about 45 min. from the Hilton Resort. A welcome by the inhabitants includes a drink of the local brew (tuak) anda berandau with UKUM the headman of this village under one roof. Opportunities to witness and take part in the daily Iban activities. Watch a cockfight, partake in a blowpipe target practice before returning to resort.

DELOK LONGHOUSE

An hour from the Resort, on the confluence of the Batang Ai and the Delok, this is one of the larger communities in the area. Allow time to get to know your hosts as well as to explore the longhouse. Experience fully the unique hospitality of the Ibans and their communal lifestyle.

SPAYA LONGHOUSE

Beyond Ukum longhouse on the Engkari river, Spaya longhouse is about 1 1/4 hours longboat ride from the resort. As an idea day trip for those wishing to take their time enjoying the riverine journey on the natural surrounding of the Batang Ai tributaries apart from witnessing the Iban lifestyle. Traditional entertainment provided. (Lunch included)

BERITIK / TIBU LONGHOUSE

A 2 hour journey to the Upper reaches of the Batang Ai, to the edge of the newly constituted Batang Ai National Park. Great trekking through virgin jungle, good possibility or sightings of wildlife.
