4 days 3 nights ex Kuching
Day 1 Arrive at Kuching International Airport, meet and transfer by land (45 mins) to Camp Permai. Enroute, browse through our beautifully layout Kuching Waterfront commanding a contrast of Old and New Kuching. Upon arrival in Camp Permai located at the foot of Mount Santubong by the South China Sea, check in to our Log Cabin. Lunch. Afternoon, proceed on foot (5 mins) to visit the “Living Museum” of Sarawak Cultural Village displaying a replica of 7 representative traditional houses : Chinese Farm House, Malay Stilted House, Melanau Tall House, Penan Hut and Longhouses of the Bidayuh, Iban and Orang Ulu. Taste the delicious cookies, try the delicate craftwork and feel the genuine hospitality of our natives. Get entertained to a cultural dance presentation before returning to Camp Permai. Dinner. Overnight in Permai. (LUNCH/DINNER)
Day 2 Breakfast. Morning, proceed for a two hour jungle walk to study the rich flora and fauna, edible and medicinal plants amidst the greenery in our Dipterocarp Forest most children never get the chance of having. Lunch. Afternoon, participate in the Obstacles Course with 15 elements to Tackle, Accomplish and Persevere (TAP) to enhance yourself towards self development. Dinner. Overnight in Permai. (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
Day 3 Breakfast. Early morning, proceed by land (30 mins) and a brief hike to visit Semenggoh Orang Utan Sanctuary. Catch a glimpse of the interesting “Wild Men of Borneo” during feeding while our educator narrates to you their humane behaviour, emotion and characteristics. Resume by land (45 mins) for a full day recreation to Ranchang Pool. Enroute, visit a pepper/cocoa plantation, poultry farm taking time to also observe the amazing Pitcher Plant (insects eater) and Mimosa Touch Me Not (the shy princess). Arrive at Ranchang, lunch and swim in the numerous pools formed by stages of waterfalls from the Matang mountain stream. Return to Camp Permai via the same way. B-B-Q dinner over camp fire. Overnight in Permai. BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
Day 4 Breakfast. Pick up from Camp Permai for transfer to Kuching International Airport for onward travel. (BREAKFAST)
