TO IB OR NOT TO IB

• To IB, or not to IB: that is the question
• whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
• The persisten pain of outrageous knowledge
• Or to welcome blissful ignorance,
• And by accepting it: To sleep, to sleep.
• And by a sleep we avoid
• The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks
• That Geneva requires, 'tis a consummation
• Devoutly to be wish'd. To sleep
• To sleep: perchance to dream: ay there's the rub;
• For in that sleep what dreams may come
• When we have attained the ultimate,
• Must give us pause. A perfect 45.
• That makes sense of such tribulations
• For who would counter the prizes of CAS
• or oppose the value of TOK?
• The pangs of guided coursework; the advisors scorn
• For the Extended Essay, a topic well worn.
• That patience is merit for the unworthy takes
• A form deserving praise when effort is shorn.
• To grunt and sweat under a weary life,
• But that the dream holds something after the IB,
• The Undiscover'd talent from which is born
• A world citizen, paving the way
• And makes us rather proud to have carried those ills
• To aspire to excellence, no cowards are we,
• And thus the native hue of resolution
• Is glossed o'er with great hopes. Carry on always
• To enterprises of great pith and moment
• The currents bring us forward,
• Inspired to action forever remember'd
• To be challenged and to conquer. An IB Diploma
• Has made us soar.
