The Brahmin Samaj of Georgia, Inc. is a registered non-profit organization.  It is engaged in promoting friendship and cohesiveness among all the Brahmin members of the state of Georgia.  The Brahmin Samaj is based on Indian culture which tries to bring awareness and values into the main stream of fellow Brahmins and Indians.

Brahmin Samaj of Georgia, Inc. organizes a minimum of four programs during the year; Maha Shivaratri, Camping, Summer Picnic and a Diwali Milan.  The Samaj works towards a social fabric of day to day activities of Brahmins and other indians.

Currently the Samaj has over 50 Life Member Families and 100 Annual Member Families.  The Annual Membership fee is $35.00 and the Life Membership Fee is $250.00.  The membership year runs from January through December.

The eventual goal of the Samaj is to study and resolve social needs of youths; and to promote Indian and Brahmin heritage and culture for future generations.  Another goal of the Samaj would also like to support the elderly in the community by tending to their needs.  Another is to prevent violence in the family/community by providing a forum for discussion and support groups among peers.
