Bouncing is a term that is used to find what codes are used in someones sig. box. You can bounce an e-mail or if you frequent newsgroups, you can bounce someones post. It is very helpful if you are trying to help someone fix their sig. If you use this just to find the codes someone is using then it would be in everyones "best" interest to ask them FIRST if you may use what the have!

When viewing the e-mail or post you would like to "bounce", click on send or forward
When your mail page appears, type in YOUR e-mail address.
Now delete _all_ of the text in the subject line
Put the cursor in the _body_ (where you would write your message) and click return _twice_
Now hold down the Alt key and click the "z" key or any other key that will work with the alt key.
Hold down the Cmd and the "a" key to highlight the symbol, then click the "c" key to "copy" it, click the "x" key to "cut" it.
Now put the cursor back on the subject line and then click the Cmd and the "v" key.
You should see the subject line "expand"
Now click send and in less then 30 seconds it should come back to you with the persons codes that you want to see.
