Music and Philosophy
I have played guitar for about 22 years , that's a long time
considering that I am only 28 years old . Over that period of time
my musical tastes have changed considerably , ranging from country/
bluegrass influences ( thats hard to escape since I'm from Kentucky )
to 80's Hard Rock and Heavy Metal.
For the last few years my main interest has been Blues/
Blues Rock guitar , and for the last year or so I've been playing with
a band called Most Wanted , we do mostly cover songs , but we also have
our own original music. My biggest influence by far , and the man that I
consider to be the greatest guitarist of all time is Stevie Ray Vaughan
Listening to his music one can't escape the sheer power that it exudes,
if you've never seen or heard him play , I highly recommend it .
Although Stevie Ray died tragically on Aug. 27 , 1990 , ( Check
out my links to find out the whole story ) his talent and influence
will live forever .
If you ever get the chance to watch one of his live performances,
try turning off the sound on your TV , yes I said turn off the sound,
you can actually feel the power of his performance simply by watching
him , his soul shines thru even without hearing him .

playing Guitar and I still love SRV's music , I hope you do too!
