Suspects last show/pat goon gettin' some air/king billups kickin' some ass!
This was an interesting show. Three bands in the studio and the Revelation
Records label showcase.
We had Stout (Baltimore Hardcore), Next Step Up (Baltimore Hardcore) and
Last One Standing (DC Hardcore). What was interesting was that Thad from
Stout made it despite getting whacked in the head by a baseball bat from the
night before. He was in high spirits for what he went through and that was
impressive unto its own. JR from Next Step Up talked about his travels to
Japan with his band and introduced his new band Wake Up Cold. Wake Up Cold
sounded bad ass. I'd keep an eye out for those guys. Last was Last One
Standing. Fresh off tour with Hatebreed, these guys talked about scene unity
and the upcoming Superbowl of Hardcore. In fact Bill, the singer, set up the
event and it is the biggest show I've ever scene come to DC - 30 Bands,
three stages and one day to do it all in. He must have a huge headache.
Next up was the Revelation Records label showcase. This is the first
installment of a series we plan to do every two weeks for the next year. We
gave away CDs and sonically told the history of Revelation. People seemed to
get into this. It's not very often you get a complete musical perspective of
a label within an hour. On Feb 5th we will have Jefe and Eric from Radical
Records in NYC down to co-host their hour. Stay tuned.
Oh yea, I forgot to mention we had some freak ass callers too. One Chick
lost a bet with her friend over the Redskins game. The bet was that her
friend got to decide who she would fuck next. Apparently that's me, Chris.
Pretty sad when you think about it. They had to bet who would fuck me. I
don't think so. We also had the Jesus freak call and try to convince us that
Jim Morrison was John the baptist. This world is fucked up.

King Billups & G Gordan Liddy/smokin' in the boys room/Clark's Ditch
By the way, the phone number to call the show while we are on the air is 1-800-636-1067.
You'll be sure to catch a hold of me that way.
