Davis's pistols are a cased pair of Belgian-made, single-shot
pistols with ivory grips. They are in the Berman Museum in Anniston, Alabama. A veteran of the U.S. Army, before the War Davis represented Mississippi in the U.S. Senate and was Secretary of War. |

Confederate Memorial Day observed at Wick's Tavern

The Forrest Escort Camp's color guard leads the 2001 march to the Georgia State Capitol to celebrate General Robert E. Lee's birthday and support maintaining the current State flag, which combines the State seal on a blue field with the Confederate battle flag.
