Endless Love
I have now located.
For which
I THANK GOD
My family was split from us sometime in 1966
there was 3 children 2 nephews and 1 neice and
of course their mother.Their father tried to
find them with no luck. After a few yrs he
remarried and adopted 2 girls. Still not giving
up hope of finding his first family.
Well he never lived to see this day as he
died of sudden heart attact at a very young age
1 month before his 45th birthday.
After his death I made a promise to him and to myself to never give up the search.At the time of his
death there wasn`t much help out there in which
to find someone.But now we have lots of tools to
help us. THANK GOD for the internet.
I started my search by paying a company to send me names and address of the boys, names in the states we believed they were in. I wrote letters to some and phoned some. Getting nowhere and very depressed I put search aside for a while.
Then my sister(Betty) told me about webtv. Not going past 8th grade and no knowledge of computers I was lost in search having little personal info to go on also hindered me. But when I heard of webtv I was on my way to buy it as I knew I could get into internet and search a little better As webtv is so easy to use. THANK GOD FOR WEBTV
After getting web and hooking it up the first
thing I did after getting to know web was to
post to a lot of news groups for any help I
could get.I then found a site that you could
build a web page, on finding my family.Well I
still knew nothing about building a webpage but
this site made it easy.You choose from what they
have and choose where you wanted it on the
layout that you have chose then they make the
codes
for you.As you`ll see I was so dumb I never
capitalized where I should have and was so dumb
didnt know how to go back in and correct it ,for
fear of losing it LOL. So its still that way to
this day.

In the weeks and months that followed
I did many searches on search engines.
I have
a cyber friend(Margie) who knew of my search and
she had
a cyber friend with same name as one nephew, she
gave me his email address and I wrote.I waited
nervously for his reply only to be disappointed
again.
I saw a soap star who was married to man with his name I got her email address and wrote her too. Same disappointment.
How much more of this can I endure.My hopes would get so high only to be let down so suddenly didnt think I could go on with search. But soon something inside of me said carry one girl you promised.
Well by this time a wonderfull neice Jen had taught me how to make a web page.And I made this one.
By this time I had went nuts making homepages
and I would put this first site on them in hopes some
one would see it and know them or they by chance
would see it.Still no luck.
My grand daughter posted on an aol site looking for help.This is what she posted.
I still to this day cry when I read this.Well now I`ve gotton ahead of the story But thats ok It will all come together.
Well before this last post from grand daughter(April)I met a lovely lady from Florida(Linda) on the web and believing they were in Florida we talked about her help in finding the family.As she had a friend that was in police work. So she was trying to help me too. And nothing came about.More disappointments.
When the state news groups came on line not
too long ago I posted In Florida and Ohio.
I also posted on several sites that are for
searching. Here is one such post I posted` for
both boys only. As by this time felt the girl
would be married and have different last
name.

Well the post my grand daughter made on aol
site she never told me about till the night of
March23 I think.She email me and said granny I
posted your site on the kids. And a lady has
found an old drivers license of Stanleys. Do you want me
to send it to you.I was not about to get excited
as the let down was too great. But I mailed her
back and said yes send it.When I opened her next
email my heart told me this is our Stanley.And
this is what I got.

Now in my way of thinking how many Stanley Jacob Martin can there be in Florida with same name and birthday.God told me girl you've got a good lead.Well I printed the email out and forwarded it to my friend in Fl to run it through a data base. With printed letter in hand I went to our chief of police. And asked him to run a trace in Fl well he did and came up with nothing.Sick at heart I went on to work from there. And several hrs later my husband called and told me chief had came by with a trace he done nationally. And it had very good info on it.This was on a thursday,and when I got home it had his address on it but no phone# So I call info for a # and she said I have no phone listing at that address but do have a Stanley J at another address. I got that # thinking well he may have moved.Well I called, wrong Stanley I was sick. But life still goes on and I had hair appointment so went on.As I was getting hair done I thought to myself maybe if I write to address thats on the report from chief I can find out if this is him.When I got home I wrote and mailed letter out Friday morning.
On sunday at church I asked for special
prayer that my lead would be the right one.On
monday evening I recieved
THE MOST IMPORTANT
CALL of my life.
Sitting in my recliner with keyboard on my lap emailing my neice in Ohio I answer Hello He says i`m the Stanley Martin you are looking for. Keyboard hit the floor as well as my knees.And I said you are? And then I asked a few questions to make sure it was. When he answered my last question correct I yelled Praise God.
The Long Journey Is Over I have never layed eyes on Stanley as brother and wife was close to my sister and not me when he was born and then they moved to NewYork but he`s still very important to me,as well as the rest of them.
My mother died when I was just 18 and our brothers was young. So our aunt took the boys per mother wishes. But after some yrs boys wanted to be closer to our dad. My sister took Dick and I had Don.So Dick was closer to Betty than me.
I have spoken on phone to both boys and Kim by email to all, plus their mother and I email. I can hardly wait till we can all get together. I pray it won't be long.(but i`m afraid of flying) But God got us this far we`ll find away somehow.
Well The Search Is Over
I`ve keep my promise And brother can now rest in peace.And my heart can heal.

I wish to thank Audrey for raising such find
children.And for not being upset that we found
you.
If you get anything from this site I hope its that family is most important.Keeping your promises whether its a promise to your self or to others. And loving each other.The love for your Savior Above all else.

Another Update5/29/04 Well the flight there and back was fine We had a family gathering in las vages. I have finally got to see the other 2 its been a long time coming. Sister,neice and I all flew out there and a great time was had by all. THANK YOU LORD
