Ida's first moon. It's difficult to get lost on Ptero because directions are colors. North is blue, South is red, West is green, and yellow is east. Also, a person or things distance of travel is limited by their age. West is from and East is to. The farther West they go towards from the younger they get, and can go on until they get so young they cannot go further, or going towards to, until they get to old. Ptero is a complex planet with all the inhabitants of Xanth, all the characters that might inhabit Xanth, and characters who are just mere ideas in others heads. The inhabitants of Ptero who also have a likeness on Xanth have all of the memories of their Xanth likeness except the memories occurring on their "off-year", the year currently being lived by their Xanth character on Xanth.

Ida's next moon that is shaped like a pyramid. The faces are blue, red, green, and the bottom face is gray. Rewards for favors on Pyramid are some of the receivers mass. If someone on Pyramid does a favor for some creature then the person giving the favor will gain some of that creatures mass and grow in size where as the creature receiving the favor will grow smaller. So, the more favors you do for another the larger you'll get and the more favors you receive the smaller you'll grow. Also, you'll be orientated on one side and need to reorient to get to another face of the pyramid. Say if you're on the blue face and want to go onto the red face you'll have to ask creatures called lings to reorient you so you can get to the other face. The lings reorienting you will be them doing you a favor and they will receive some of your mass as well.

Doughnut shaped planet. Giving favors on Torus doesn't cause one's size to change but causes feelings of love. The giver of the favor comes to like, even love, the recipient.

Ida's next moon, in the shape of a cone. There's no problem orientating on the different faces of cone as it is on Pyramid, gravity turns with you. Summoning the Stork on Cone is no secret and everyone does it with anyone else, which is the reason why everyone on Cone is a crossbreed. Even the Ida on Cone is a crossbreed, she has a horses head.

In the shape of a dumbbell. Everyone on Dumbbell is remarkably muscular. Magic there is related to physical strength.

Looks like a pincushion with thousands of pins stuck in it, crowded together. If you touch a pin you'll reorientate on it and suddenly be ontop of the pin, so people live below and ontop of the pins. Everyone on Pincushion are tall and this, like pins.

Spiral Shaped moon. Spiral is covered in lights and the center is bulges and glows more brightly then the rest of the moon.
