Sunday August19th at Indian Ranch Webster,MA
Story by William Bolton and Photos by William Bolton

It was indeed a party atmosphere at Indian Ranch this day. Thousands of fans, many clad in motorcycle leather and some even carrying Confederate flags or P.O.W. / M.I.A. flags, were all pumped up to see and hear The Legendary Charlie Daniels Band.

Opening the show was the lovely and talented Maine native, Jenny Paquette.    Jenny did a great set from her current In Spirit Records release See What You Do as well as her debut release Time Will Tell. She also did a nice cover of Trick Pony`s Pour Me and a tribute to her favorite artist and biggest influence Martina McBride, What Ever You Say.

The obviously sold out crowd went into overdrive as Charlie Daniels Band walked onto the stage.   They did a set of fan favorites from there multitude of albums with Charlie working fiddle, guitar and of course vocals. They also did some tributes. They did Free Bird for the fallen members of Lynard Skynard, The House Is Rockin, Stevie Ray Vaughan and The Good Lord, How Great Thou Are. Charlie also mentioned that his new gospel album will be out in January. Of course as an encore much to the delight of the crowd who were dancing in the aisles, they did The Devil Went Down To Georgia.

The weather was supposed to be cloudy and raining, but the sun was as bright as the music was loud. This was not your usual family outing at Indian Ranch but it was a party not to be missed!
