Candelaria Ghost Town

This ghost town is right smack dab next to a working mine but dont let that, or all the "KEEP OUT" signs deter you from visiting here, we had a great time!
Plenty to explore, including some crumbling buildings and lots of old mines. I know Cat was pretty stoked when she found an intact bottle stopper here. I had an absolute blast here! I chased critters the entire time!

We were contacted by a decendant of Ben Edwards that owned the building in the these two photos. It was a bank, general store, post office, telegraph office and even a jail at one time! There is a link to her page at the bottom of this one!
