Masonic is a killer ghost town thats located on a great dirt road nearby Bridgeport, CA. Its on the same road as the Chemung Mine and Mill. Masonic has three sections, Upper Camp, Middle Camp, and Lower Camp. Upper Camp has only the mines and a couple of foundations where houses used to be. Middle Camp has a couple of cabins that have almost desintigrated into nothing and Lower Camp has the mill ruins and several cabins.
Cat and I have been here a bunch of times and we always find something new to explore each time. This last time we went we hiked up to the tram that goes from the mines above Upper Town to the mill at Lower Camp. Got some killer pictures too! Check them out!
