LET'S BRING PATRICIA MARY HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS!!!

Patricia Mary was born at 8:15 a.m. on March 11, 1965, at St. Mary's Hospital in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Her mother had carried her a full 40 weeks and there was only 3 hours and 15 or so minutes of labout. It was a normal spontaneous vortex delivery. Patricia Mary weighed 6 pounds 15 ounces and was 20 inches tall. Her birth mother had come from Newfoundland when she was 3 months pregnant and worked as a live-in domestic until the birth. It is assumed that she retured home after that. Adoption concent was signed on March 15, 1965, when Patricia Mary was placed in an agency foster home awaiting adoption. She was baptised that same day as Lisa Anne Guay. Patricia Mary was placed in her adoptive home on December 1, 1965, and the adoption was legalized on July 5, 1968, judgement #833. Her adoptive parents were Patrick Earl Guay and Penelope Mary Allen of Montreal. Patricia Mary's Birth Mother: She was 20-years-old at the time of the birth. A native of Newfoundland and her father was a retired lobster business owner. She had a Grade 11-12? education and had taken a business course so she could work as a private secretary. She was caucasian, fair, light brown hair and blue eyes, 5'4" tall and slim. She was a Roman Catholic of Irish/English descent. She was in good physical condition, received prenatal care, smoked. She had no allergies or significant illnesses. She enjoyed all sports, swimming, skating, dancing and music. She wss very close to her father and she described him as very kind and understanding. Her family was very musical and several family members played musical instruments. The birth mother came from a family of 13 children of which seven died in infancy or very young. Others were alive and well in 1965 and were also musically inclined. Patricia Mary's Birth Father: He was also 20-years-old and from Newfoundland. He was caucasian, fair, brown hair and blue eyes, 5'11" tall and slim. He is Roman Catholic and of English Canadian descent. He had a Grade 11 education and worked as a government office clerk. He enjoyed all sports (as a spectator), swimming, very musical, sang and played piano. He was involved with a "recording" band. Reportedly he was close to his mother and he had a sister as of 1965. Their Story: Patricia Mary's birth parents were engaged to be married. When her mother became pregnant and told the father of it, the engagement was broken off. She was advised by her priest to come to Montreal to give the baby up. She felt she could not give her the care and security she'd need. Lisa's Story: Lisa Anne Guay was adopted by a very nice couple who went on to adopt a boy as well. She had a very good life and is very greatful to her adoptive parents. She'd like to find her birth family so that she can see where she comes from. She has married and has two wonderful sons aged 6 and 4. She just purchased a home and the family is settled in quite nicely. She doesn't want to put undue pressure on anyone. All she wants is to know her Mother, and family. Maybe even her Father and his family. She'd like to send photos of her sons and perhaps ask a few medical questions. (ex: does anyone in the family suffer from Thyroid problems as she's had them since her teenage years.) Everyone needs to know where they come from! Let's give her the best Christmas ever!
