    Actor Curtis Armstrong,  who played Booger in "Revenge of the Nerds" and

novice detective Bert Viola in the "Moonlighting" TV series, has volunteered as

an abortion clinic escort. Armstrong helped shield patients from protesters

Saturday at Pensacola (Fla.) Women's Medical Services, where Dr. David Gunn was

murdered last year by an anti-abortion activist. Armstrong has been an active

supporter of abortion rights since 1989.
