Mrs. Matilda Julia Schoener, 63, of Tampa, Fl., died in a Tampa hospital Sunday. She was the mother of Angus J. Gauthier, and a sister of Joseph J. Morpaw, both of Port Huron. Mrs. Mary Conat, St. Clair, is a sister.
Mrs. Schoener had lived in Tampa for five years. She is survived by another son, Harold F. Gauthier, Albany, N.Y., two daughters, Mrs. Louise Heacox, Schenectady, N.Y., and Mrs. Lorraine Murtagh, and another sister, Mrs. bertha Gauthier, both of Scotia, N.Y., She had six grandchildren.
Her grave stone reads B; Sept 29, 1894 D; Feb 24, 1963.
Many documents show her name as Julia Mathilda others as Matilda Julia.
