Students are encouraged to freely worship God in a way that brings
them closer to Jesus. Our worship is open to the moving of the
Holy Spirit, who himself, when yielded to, draws each one into
a personal relationship with God. During worship we exalt Jesus,
listen to what he is speaking to us, and give him thanks, praise
and honor for who he is, and for what he is doing in our lives.
Entering into the presence of God through worshipping him is an
essential part of growing in God. Every week following the main service
a time of fellowship with ministers and students takes place to build
relationships with each other as we seek to grow as a Chi Alpha family
here at Stony Brook
