BASELINE SHUFFLE

The starting positions of the Baseline Shuffle are the same as in the Deweyville Shuffle. In the Baseline Shuffle you have the advantages of the Shuffle cuts and screens plus a baseline runner.

The major differences between the Baseline Shuffle and the Deweyville Shuffle are:

(1) The second cutter becomes a baseline runner. He will run the baseline, move from one corner to the other when the pass is made from the first cutter to the point.

(2) After the first cutter uses the screen by the post the first cutter moves into the post position.

Diagrams 105-108 show the movements of the Baseline Shuffle.
