Chapter 3 / Section 2

Activity: Organize the class into groups of five. Assign each group different latitudes. Tell the group members to plan a basic year-round wardrobe for a person living in their area. Give examples of possible wardrobe items, such as fur-lined boots for a person living in high latitudes. After all the groups have completed their plans, have them compare wardrobes and determine where people need the greatest variety of clothing.
