"We've Been Expecting You."

New Brunswick's provincial capital is for walkers and wheelers. Explore the new riverfront walkway...where you can see sailboats and canoeists glide by...
And enjoy the cafes, museums and mansions that line the other
side of the street. Or enjoy the changing-of-the-guard, concerts and outdoor theatre.

I was delighted to stay at The Fredericton DELTA. From the DELTA on the banks of the river I could use my electric scooter to scoot all the way into town on the River walkway. Though Fredericton is an old city with some accessibility problems it does compensate in many areas. Fredericton has a charm and uniqueness a stately elegance . From its magnificent tree lined streets and stately homes to its bustling university life. Fredericton has an open and friendly atmosphere. A charming place to visit.
There are always activities happening and the best way to find out what is happening is to contact Fredericton Tourism before you go. With a wonderful museum and many plays you never know what you might find in Fredericton.

Though there are several different types of accommodations from Comfort Inns to the older Lord Beaverbrook hotel. I recommend the Fredericton DELTA.
