Feedback and comments on Badge Buyer Guide

5th September 1999 - Mark Semple - Celtic Supporter - London

Well done mate on a great site, I'm a Celtic fan living in London. I collect all types of pin on badges related to Celtic & Ireland. Also I've just started to collect European teams. The Celtic Badges total at the moment is 140, but the problem is remembering the ones you have got and the ones you need.

Just to let you know that Soccer Scene have now moved down the road. It's ok, but I preferred the other shop. The badges are just under the counter on 2 boards.

For your site you may want to include some more places in London to buy badges :

1. Wembley Market, Wembley Stadium. Sundays only 9am-3pm (Closed when matches are played on Sundays) There is one football stall with about 100 different English, Scottish and European badges - is ok nothing special.

2. Wembley Way (The walk way to the stadium) England home games plus probably other games. I was there just before the Luxemburg game on Saturday I went there especially to get badges not to the game. It's on the left just off the walk way, just before the road crossing. Plenty of UK teams. Worth the trip.

3. There is also a stall at Piccadilly Circus just as you come down from Regents Street on the left just before Burger King.

Also just for your reference the stalls in Oxford St. between Marble Arch & Regents St. currently have no badges.

A place in Glasgow to get badges is : The Barras Market, Gallowgate, Glasgow. Fridays-Sundays 9-3pm. About six stalls with the most excellent collections of Celtic & Rangers badges ever to be seen.

Do you have or seen good collections of Celtic badges in London? Do you have any Celtic badges for sale?

Next year I plan to visit Britain and try to get to a few of the grounds and will be using your site as a guide for obtaining badges.
