Cutting through the Land of Myst, bringing life in the form
of water to all living things, both animal and vegetable, the mist shrouded
Misty River twists and turns it's way through dark forests and vast meadows.
The rush of water in it's course brings it's own special music to all
parts of the Land of Myst.
The River
A gentle ripple against the shore;
The splash of a fish at play;
The hum of insects among the reeds;
Otters slide through clay.
The rush of water over rocks;
As the river picks up speed;
The crash of a distant waterfall;
A mighty, watery steed.
Up and down the riverbank,
Full of sights and sounds;
The wonder and mystery of nature,
In all her glory abounds.
Racing though the watercourse,
Wild, and swift, and free;
Bringing life to man and beast,
As it rushes to the sea.
