Join Me in My Luxurious Nest High in the Top of One of the World's Largest Trees
High among the treetops,
Leafy, green, and tall;
Nestled in the foliage,
Perched as if to fall.
Sits a mighty castle,
Anchored to the boughs;
Spires standing straight and tall,
As high as space allows.
Thus sits the castle in the trees,
A wonder to behold;
'Tis the home of the Lord known as Hawke,
A nobles fair and bold.
On his legs, in human form,
He walks among the crowds;
But with his wings, in form of hawk,
He soars among the clouds.
He knows no bounds when flying high,
Far above the loam;
But, when at last he comes to rest,
This castle he calls home.
A castle like no other,
High above the ground.
The sighing of the wind
Oft the only earthly sound.
'Tis in this place of verdant greeen
That Hawke does find repose;
Among the squirrels and the birds,
Safe from earth-bound foes.
But, when affairs of man do call,
Lord Hawkes will never mind
To take his place among his friends,
And leave his nest behind.
