Welcome! Welcome to the first edition of Star Wars Mini-Mag! This is the only Star Wars Magazine that’s free! It may not be as good as the Star Wars Insider but it’s good. It’s unofficial. Anyway down to the stuff you want to see. Oh, and by the way if you want to send an article to this Mini-Mag than please do so then I will have enough stuff to send out plus you get your name in this magazine! Technical Data
Star Articles Special Edition Movies Have you seen any of the special edition movies? I’ve only seen A New Hope and not Empire or Jedi. It’s pretty cool not just the new stuff but seeing it in the theater. Mos Eisley has the most new stuff to it so keep your eyes open for the new stuff. I hope to see the others soon. Shadows of the Empire Have you read the book Shadows of the Empire? It’s great, you should read it! It tells all about the stuff between the Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi (you know when Han is frozen in carbonite so Han isn’t in the book well he isn’t really a character). I won’t tell you much about it because it would spoil the book. Star Funnies Newsflash! Luke Skywalker claims to have seen Jabba the Hutt on Tatooine in the flesh! In other news Princess Leia Organa divorces Han Solo and Marries Boba Fett! This news is all fictional. T.I.E.’s to Wimpy! Have you ever noticed how wimpy TIE fighters are? They blow up like that! They just go boom and then one hundred more go. Why are they so wimpy? They could have at least made them a little more realistic by taking a little longer to blow them up. Why don’t they show a little more X-Wing vs. TIE fighter in the movies?
Character Profile Profile on Luke Skywalker: Luke lived on Tatooine and lived with his Aunt Beru and Uncle Owen. Luke bought R2-D2 and C-3P0 from the Jawas. Luke wanted to be and is a Jedi. He got his father’s old lightsaber (his father being Anakin Skywalker or Darth Vader) and made his own. He made his own due to the fact that he lost his fathers and his hand in the Cloud City (Bespin). Luke was trained as a Jedi by Obi-Wan (Ben) Kenobi and then (after Obi-Wans death) by Yoda. Yoda died after Luke escaped from Jabba. Luke is now a Jedi and has his own Jedi Academy (read the series Young Jedi Knights by Kevin J. Anderson and Rebecca Moesta). Luke’s sister (as you should know) is Leia. Star Wars Wanted and Have Section In this section of the magazine you send in an article about something you WANT or something you HAVE and would like to sell to someone. Please be sure to include your name, address, city, state, and zip code. This way the person who wants or has something will know who to send it to. There aren’t any in this issue.
