East Fife's results from Season 1917/18: |
The Eastern League was left with only seven members for Season 1917/18. Although Scottish League sides Raith Rovers and Dundee joined the league following the Scottish League's decision to trim its membership to 18 due to travelling restrictions brought about by the war, St Bernard's, East Stirlingshire, Bathgate, Lochgelly United and Broxburn United all withdrew from the Eastern League. In order to fill the fixture list, the decision was taken that all clubs would play each other four times. |
