Tommy Adams

Tommy Adams signed for East Fife in 1935 from Neilston Victoria, when he was described in the local press as 'One of the most fancied juniors of last season'. The report went on to say that 'there is not much of him, but what there is is good'. To say that Tommy was good was an understatement. During his time with East Fife, the tricky Outside Right established himself as a firm favourite on the terraces with some outstanding performances. Tommy was a member of the 1938 Scottish Cup winning side and also picked up a League Cup winners medal in 1947. Remembered by older generations of Fifers as a 'great entertainer with the ball' Tommy Adams was still playing for East Fife in the early 1950's.
