Henry Morris

Henry Morris joined East Fife from Dundee Violet in June 1946, when East Fife beat many other Scottish and English clubs for the signature of the sharp shooting Centre Forward. During his first three months as an East Fife player, Henry, along with striking partner Dougie Davidson, scored an amazing 38 goals between them. It was this form which first drew the attention of the international selectors, but it was to be another three years before Henry made his Scotland debut against Northern Ireland in 1949. Despite scoring a hat trick in Scotland's 8-2 win in Belfast, Henry was amazingly never picked to play for his country again.
