Jimmy Philp
Jimmy Philp joined East Fife on a free transfer from Hearts in season 1946/47 and became part of the famous half back line of Philp, Finlay and Aitken. During his time at Bayview Jimmy won two League Cup winners medals and a Scottish Cup finalists' medal. Jimmy's first senior club was the now defunct St Bernards and, over twenty years after signing for the Edinburgh side, finished his playing career with Brechin City in 1955.
