Slow-Pitch Softball Team Homepage

We are located out of Rowlett, Texas (just outside of Dallas). The team play's in the 10 & Under bracket. To our wonderful surprize our record for last fall's season was 6-3-1 (yes, a tie). We believe we finished the fall league in either 1st or 2nd. The league did not keep a record for the fall season (but, most of the teams knew each others records). Last season in the 8 & Under league, we were the Rowlett League Champinons. We placed 4th in the State, and placed 3rd in a local tournament that was held in the Dallas area.

The '99 Season: The season has started with Coach's John Clopton, Chip Mitchell, and Don Kirk leaving the team. Tom Bates now takes over. The girls have decided to play fastpitch and move away from slowpitch.

The '98 Season: The league season ended and the Cowgirls final record for the league is 11-1. The team finished tied for first place with the Rookies. However, since our only loss this season was to them, they will walk away with first place and we will take second.
The Cowgirls had an excellant season. For us to come into the 10 & Under Division, and take second is quite an accomplishment. The girls played hard all season and deserved the trophy. The state tournament was held the 4th of July weekend in Lubbock, TX. The Cowgrils and Slam-Hers represented Rowlett. The Slam-Hers played better than we did and placed 4th. The Cowgirls took 5th.

The '99 Season: The Cowgirls have made the jump to fastpich and other than Tom, the entire coaching staff has changed. We wish the girls well.
