 Croco is really the first challenge you face. If you're ready, though, you'll blow past him like beans blow through me :). As soon as the fight starts, blast him with Mario's Fire 
Orb. This will inflict good damage and buy you an extra round. Afterwards, alternate 
between punches and Orbs. Once he uses the green Weird Mushroom he's near defeat. Keep it 
up and he's toast. Surprisingly, Mallow is pretty weak in this battle. Use the occasional 
Thunderbolt, HP Rain (if Croco gets bomb-happy), or pick at him with jabs.
