As reviewed by James Brundage

This delightful comedy involves the pre-wedding meeting of the parents (One of them being Senator Kevin Keeley, a major conservative played by Gene Hackman.) of Senator Kevin Keeley's daughter and the child of a gay man that was procured from a one-night stand. The preparation for the meeting is a bout of humor which becomes pale in comparison by the non-stop laughs of the confrontation at the dinner itself. The senator cannot afford to be caught inside the home of the gay men because he is currently in the public eye, so the movie is ended with a round of laughs that you won't soon forget.
