My Soul

When I was six, you stole a piece of my soul.
I ripped my body for you.

When I was seven, you stole a piece of my soul.
I bled for you.

When I was eight, you stole a piece of my soul.
I cried for you.

When I was nine, you stole a piece of my soul.
I throbbed for you.

When I was ten, you stole a piece of my soul.
I lost my innocence for you.

When I was eleven, you stole a piece of my soul.
I was silent for you.

When I was twelve, you stole a piece of my soul.
I begged for you.

Then, you stole no more...

When I was sixteen, your creation stole a piece of my soul.
I bruised for him.

When I was eighteen, he stole a piece of my soul.
I was strangled for him.

When I was twenty, he stole a piece of my soul.
I gashed for him.

Then, he stole no more...

When I was twenty, my love came into my life.
He stole a piece of my soul.
I loved for him.

When I was twenty-one, my love promised me the world.
He stole a piece of my soul.
I believed his lies.

When I was twenty-two, my love found someone worthy of love.
He stole a piece of my soul.
I ripped my body for him, I bled for him, I cried for him,
I throbbed for him, I lost my innocence for him,
I was silent for him, I begged for him, I bruised for him,
I was stangled in my love for him, I gashed my skin for him,
   I loved for him,

I believed his lies.

Then, he stole no more...

Never again, thieves stay away...
There is no soul left.
