Hello from Long Island, New York! I'm a native Texan and proud of it, born and raised in Baytown, home of the Robert E. Lee Fighting Ganders and the Famous REL Marching and Symphonic Bands. Though I never would have thought I'd leave my home state, my life was changed for the better when I met my sweetheart, and now my heart (as well as the rest of me) belongs in New York. Siobhan is from Long Island and she has also lived and gone to school in Ireland. We (along with our precious miniature dachshund, Danny Boy) now reside in beautiful Northport on Long Island. I work for a law firm in the quaint Village of Northport, and it's close enough for me to walk to and from work when it's not too hot and humid. Siobhan works with autistic children and has a Master's degree in Special Education. On the following pages are pictures of some of the places we've been and/or things we've seen in the Big Apple and around Long Island. Some of our interests include Indigo Girls (you can see pictures of me with Amy and Emily on a following page), Melissa Etheridge, the World Champion New York Yankees and the Houston Astros. My favorite Astro is first baseman Jeff Bagwell, a great guy I was lucky enough to meet in 1992, the year after he became the first Houston player to win Rookie of the Year honors. Siobhan's favorite Astro is second baseman Craig Biggio, who is originally from Smithtown right here on Long Island.
