At Ease on MV, 1999

Mathilda dancing at a swing concert in the Martha's Vineyard Campmeeting Association's Tabernacle. It's about 70 yards from the cottage we rent, and a national historic landmark. President Clinton worships there when on-island, and among many notables, my cousin Harry Connick Jr has performed there. From the sublime to the ridiculous, so have I, at a couple of the regular Wednesday Night Community Sings.

Ruth kayaking on Menemsha Great Pond. We went from north to south on the pond, from Lobsterville down to Stonewall Beach. We also waded and snorkeled the pond and picked up molted horseshoe crab shells. We had a nice picnic on the Lobsterville beach.
