Our Chief of Police Mr Roland VANREUSEL began a complete
changing of the Brussels Police Department. He and his staff began in 1996
with the redefinition of all the police services. Before that all services
where little islands within the department where now 2 main sections were
created namely the functional section and the operational section. They
place within those 2 main sections all the other squads and groups. In
1997 he and his staff began with the changing of all police divisions in
Brussels and reintroducing the neighbourhood policestations. In a few weeks
I will publish a complete text of these changings.
