Hello!!! Welcome to my new and hopfully improved Homepage! I hope this one will last much longer!

Moving along... my name is Phyllis and I am a 42 year old assistant manager at a nearby convenience store. I live in the "hot as hell" but beautiful desert state of Arizona. My nationalities are of Mexican and Native American Indian (Pima I believe). I don't speak any native indian languages but I do speak spanish. I may be 42, but alot of people think I'm still in my mid 20's to mid 30's. I guess that is good. You can be the judge (my pics are on the left here : )). I do act like a teenager sometimes but also feel old at times... lol. I'm single, never been married and no kids...just my 2 cats, Prissy, a female calico mix and Squiggles male siamese (both pictured on the left as well). I was diagnosed with Diabetes almost 2 years ago, luckily I don't need insulin. (Knock on wood) I just need to monitor my sugar.

I did have a fiance who was the most wonderful man in the world to me!! But sadly, he passed away 4 years ago. I still miss him very much, but I know he is still around and watches over me. I made a webpage as my tribute to him and our love. The link is below and I hope you visit it, it would mean alot to me. : )

There has not been anyone else since him and not because I am still mourning or anything like that. Simply just because nothing has happened with anyone. As they say...'if it happens it happens...if not then it doesn't." Yes there are men interested, but I just don't respond to them. Why?.. I don't know. I think I will just stick to my crushes on William Hurt and John Cusack...hehe.

Wiliam Hurt...Now there is a man I would not mind dating! Some people say ..."eeww he's too old and balding." Well geez I'm no spring chicken myself!! Some of us older women do find him attractive!

John Cusack, I have been a fan since "16 Candles" but I never really noticed him much until "Con Air". Since then I've started noticing he really has been getting some more good, mature roles and doing a great job at them. Actually...as well, who hasn't noticed he has also gone from a geeky teen to one gorgeous man!! Sure I do like the young ones too like and Orlando Bloom and Ashton Kutchner, but William Hurt and John Cusack have actually done some great films in their careers, and I really respect them. YES, I like them for more than their looks!! Besides, I think they're both taken. Sheesh!!! lol : )

Okay now for my interests... movies, shopping, bookscrapping, photography, dinning out, writing letters and poems. I used to love going out dancing but have not had the opportunity to do so in awhile. I think I would have to say my number one interest is music... I love music!! I love all kinds except gangsta rap, gospel and most country. I love spanish rock...my favorites are Miguel Bose, Soda Stereo, LaLey, Selena and Gustavo Cerati. Other favorites in general are...Sade, Bryan Ferry, Beatles, Beach boys, but my favorites have always been Duran Duran (80's members lineup) and Rick Springfield. Oh yes and I love old school like Rick James, Smokey Robinson, Delfonics, Tierra and Isley Brothers.

I have met lots of people from chatting online during the past 7 years. On the left here is a list of all the people I have met. They all used to chat on Talkcity in the Local-Phoenix and Arizonachat rooms. Talkcity had closed down for awhile, but is back up now. Unfortunately neither rooms exist anymore. During TC's absence I had found other rooms to chat in at Starchat. I still chat in 40Plus. Stop in sometime all the people there are nice and fun to get to know. : )

- This is my personal tribute and dedicate webpage to my fiance who passed away four years ago at the age of 24. He was the most wonderful person in my life and I will always love him. You will find pictures, poems and song lyrics that are special to both me and him. I do try to update it and add more things as i find them or as they are sent to me. A few are inactive as there are a few friends who have not been online for awhile. But I decided to be respectful and keep them just in case they do come back online one day. If you have ever seen "Children of a Lesser God", then you know it is an excellent movie! I saw it and just absolutely fell in love with William Hurt! I never knew who he was before, and I had seen so many other movies with him in them.
