KEY ACHIEVEMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:
Mar/07-Aug/08 J. Crew Group Inc. (Manhattan, NY) SAP Retail Interface Technical Team Lead
· Responsible for all aspects of interfacing R3 and BW to Teradata’s Demand Chain Management System via XI, using proxies, files, and Idocs. Worked with the data integration team in designing, planning, and implementing a series of 44 interfaces, 7 of which to be used as common data for other systems including IBM legacy systems, Red Prairie WMS, and the web-based Blue Martini. Created custom update rules in BW. Created an idoc trigger system to initiate and control R3 jobs.
Jan/04- Feb/07 InSight Inc. (Phoenix, AZ) SAP BW Team Lead / SAP Technical Team Lead
· As Technical Team Lead, I was involved is all aspects of development, maintenance, and configuration of EDI related interfaces: 810, 850, 855, 856, 867, 846, and 824’s inbound and outbound via SAP IDOCS. Created a series of programs for an interface to automate the creation and processing of Service Notifications in the PM module. Implemented upgrades and service packs. Designed and developed a workflow featuring dialog-based IDOC data display for inbound Sales Orders. Co-developed a workflow process for AP and inbound Invoices. Mentored developers on many technical issues. Responsible for management of weekly ‘Make Live Plan’ for presentation and approval by the Implementation Management team. Designed and developed a workflow prototype process for transport approval and release. Responsible for technical review and approval of development related transports. Led a project that identifies and reassigning Account Managers to new clients that featured a web UI, and a complex approval algorithm. Built a workflow for automated handling of exceptions in the sales order creation process. As BW team lead, I was responsible for all aspects of data loading, modeling, spoking, and reporting in our BI and data-staging (SQL-based) environments. Configured and mapped XI for Invoice idoc translation for transition between 4.6C and Netweaver ECC 5.0 systems. Technical team lead on the Zilliant interface (a proprietary pricing system) prototype. This interface used XI out of BI to directly update SQL tables via the JDBC adapter. Created an XI interface, named Demand Forecast, from BI to our external sourcing system in XML format. Created an XML XI interface for automated extraction and FTPing of active material data. Created an XI interface, called Web relevancy, to map and FTP material list files for reporting on our sales website in XML. Setup the extraction of historical data to BW and decoded master and transactional data into new standard.
Sept/03-Oct/03 LoneStar Industries, Inc. (Indianapolis, IN) Senior SAP Technical Consultant
· Developed an interface that captured spool output, stripped out the formatting codes using a BAPI and saved the data to custom tables for reading by the Crystal Reports System. Presented and proposed innovative solutions to top management. Provided remote SAP support for end-of-month FICO reporting.
Apr/03-Jul/03 T-Mobile USA, Inc. (Bellevue, WA) Senior SAP Technical Consultant
· Responsible for many enhancements in the areas of SD and MM including: Sales Order user exits to check valid Ship-to partners; an exit to populate PO item #; an exit to move freight conditions into an Idoc transportable field; an inbound Delivery idoc user exit that updated a custom table with employee phone S/N’s; and an outbound Idoc user exit that added an Idoc segment with pricing info and Order Entry date. Also developed were many interactive ALV Grid Reports including various sales orders, reconciliation, and material stock reports. Created functions that connected directly with a foreign Warehouse Management Systems(PKMS -Manhattan Assoc.) database(Oracle) tables via Native SQL calls in ABAP. Developed an interface to load SKU and UoM data into the Material Master, and an interface that changes Sales Order statuses from spreadsheet data. Involved in upgrade and conversions from SAP IS-Retail 4.6c to 4.7 in terms of integration testing, developing CATT scripts, writing unit test plans, and testing my development objects in the new environment.
Aug/02-Apr/03 Tyson Foods (Springdale, AR) Senior SAP Technical Consultant
· Responsible for shop floor to MM/PPPI data collection interfaces: these interfaces automatically create Batches, Process Orders, Confirmations, and do a Goods Issue against Reservations using BAPI’s and BDC’s. Developed an interface for the daily load of commodity market prices, and an interface to load a custom set of Product Groups from SAP's Classification System. Also developed were many interactive and ALV reports including: Market vs. Buyer Analysis, Vendor Shipments by Lot, PO and ‘Requisition Text’ Reports, On-Time Delivery Analysis, Contract Pricing, and Invoice Days Due/Blocked Statistics. Created user exits in Sales Order creation to handle custom Handling Units. Developed a BDC to automatically update weekending dates in the characteristics of orders, and a BDC program to automatically transfer all inventories from all plants to new material numbers. Completed an interface and report that will reconcile purchases and goods movements between SAP(4.6b) and legacy systems.
May/02-Jun/02 Southern Wine and Spirits (Miramar, FL) Senior SAP Technical Consultant
· Responsible for a set of interactive statistical reports: analyzing invoice reversals, documents scanned and processed, etc. The reports also connected to HR Payroll infosets and extracted hours worked for user productivity metrics. Another report developed analyzed checks cut by division, stop payments, and voids; all reports featured drilldowns for record details. Added ALV functionality to existing reports for further flexibility.

Feb/02-May/02 Bombardier Aerospace (Montreal, QC) SAP Data Analyst/Material Master Mapping Lead
· Bombardier is a SAP IS-Aerospace 4.6c client utilizing customized ASAP methodology. During the Global Blue Printing phase, I was given the responsibility of the identification and design of all interfaces and conversions in the areas of PS, PP, and MM (except for Production Execution, and Procurement). Responsible for Functional Specifications for Interfaces, Conversions (including Data Mapping to/from legacy), Conceptual Data Models, SAP Relational Data Models, development of data standards, and mechanisms for data cleansing and normalization.
Nov/01 Dunn-Edwards Paints (Los Angeles, CA) SAP Retail Consultant · Assisted team in blueprinting POS requirements and design of future POS architecture. Investigated SAP's Retail Store product. Estimated effort required to configure and develop the POS inbound and outbound IDOC interface.
Aug/01 and Nov-Dec/01 Krones Canada Inc. (Brampton, ON) SAP Technical Consultant
· Team lead for a SAP 3.1h check printing implementation project. The check and payment advice forms required multiple currencies/pages/payment types. Form customizing was done in SAPscript using MICR Level II (handled as bar codes in SAP). Also modified Invoice, Picking List, Delivery label, Quotation, and Order Confirmation SAPscript forms to requirements.
Mar/01 - Apr/01 NEC Computers Inc. (Sacramento, CA) SAP Technical/Functional Consultant
· Part of a team responsible for the EDI configuration of inbound and outbound invoice, delivery, shipment, and sales order transactions. Trained NEC staff on SAP EDI configuration and IDOC and mechanics. Created a function module to process delivery IDOC data into sales order documents and remove the billing blocks (or reject individual order items). Developed a user exit to preprocess invoice IDOCS in order to ‘rollup’ similar segments. Developed interactive reports and BDC’s for master data maintenance. We used GE’s Application Integrator as our translator in a UNIX environment.
Jan/01 - Feb/01 Jo Ann Stores (Cleveland, OH) SAP Retail Technical Consultant
· Part of a SAP-Retail 4.6b team responsible for implementing store replenishment. Initially accountable for the RIS requirements of the project, but evolved into a series of interactive reports and tools to assist in the analysis and confirmation of SAP Retail's Forecasting and Replenishment system: Stock Exceptions, and Lead-Time Analysis, etc.
Jun/00 - Dec/00 The Body Shop (Raleigh, NC) SAP Retail Functional/Technical Consultant
· Part of a SAP-Retail 4.6b team responsible for configuring/implementing POS Inbound. Accountable for the Sales Audit requirements of the project, including a series of interactive reports and tools for POS Exception, Gap Analysis, POS Sales Tax Interface, Cash Receipts, Store Security, and Loss Prevention. I developed user-exits that pre-processed POS IDOCs adding the functionality of flagging out-of-balance transactions as errors and diverting voided transactions to custom tables. I was also challenged in working in the HR module for a short time debugging program problems.
Feb/00 - Jun/00 Exxon-Mobil Chemical Films Division (Rochester, NY) SAP Technical Consultant
· Part of a technical team that supported worldwide SAP problems and enhancements. Developed a user-exit for PA derivation. Supported several SAPscript forms. Developed an interface to the pallet labeling system and a series of security reports that illustrated authorization conflicts and transaction codes allowed by user, group or profile.
Nov/99 - Feb/00 Waccamaw/HomePlace Ltd. (Myrtle Beach, SC) SAP Retail Technical Consultant
· Waccamaw is a SAP Retail client using R/3 4.5b. I developed an interface to/from Stirling Douglas (an Oracle based Demand Chain Management Application). I used Oracle PL SQL to load and manipulate the data. The outbound interface loaded initial SAP Master data, inventory, and sales data etc. and automatically updates this data daily based on change documents in SAP. The inbound interface created purchase orders via IDOC’s.

· Enhanced MM module functionality by developing the “PO Push” program, this program automatically moved delivery dates backward so that material would not be flagged as available before it was received.
Jul/98 - Apr/99 Reebok International Ltd. (Boston, MA) SAP Retail Technical/Functional Consultant
· Technical team lead responsible for the Physical Inventory Project, bringing the project to a successful 40 store inventory in February. The Physical Inventory interface converted third-party collection data into IDOC format, and featured a SAP ‘dialog based’ data browser/editor, automatic UPC lookup and automatic material listing. Responsible for developing various interfaces for data migration including an optimized BDC interface for on-hand inventory. Because of the many performance issues that arose from a large material list, I worked closely with developers in Germany to enhance the speed in many areas of SAP-Retail. Also developed was an application to compare information structures across systems using RFC’s, and a POS outbound IDOC enhancement for refreshing store listings.
Mar/97 - May/98 Deloitte & Touche Consulting/ICS SAP Retail Consultant
· Peoples Jewelers Corp. Responsible for the development of the POS IDOC interfaces in ABAP/4. As centerpiece of the software development effort and the heart of IS-Retail, the POS interface required an understanding of IDOCS, EDI, ALE, Workflow basics, and the RIS system. I was given the opportunity to enhance my knowledge in many areas including FI, MM, and SD. As the project progressed and our team grew, I took on the role of team lead for POS development and delivered a working prototype. Investigated various converter products for POS. Did some test legacy data loads using SXDA. During the project, we evolved through versions 3.0f, 4.0a and 4.0b of SAP R/3.
