This page is just 4 you! The most special time of the year is Christmas, and I hope each one who visits this page will reflect on the significance of the birth of the special child we honor during the Christmas season. The birth of Jesus changed the world forever, because He brought us the gift of love and light! He is our Savior and our Prince of Peace. He is our Redeemer and Lord. He is the hope of today, tomorrow, and forever! He is the greatest gift of all!

Sweet, little baby precious and dear, we honor your birth as Christmas draws near.

When Joseph and Mary found no room at the inn in Bethlehem they took refuge in a lowly stable behind the inn. The words to a favorite childrens' Christmas hymn tell the story."Away in a Manger"presents a vivid picture of how it must have been that night so long ago!

"Away in a manger, no crib for a bed,the little Lord Jesus laid down his sweet head. The stars in the sky looked down where he lay, the little Lord Jesus asleep in the hay. The cattle are lowing, the baby awakes, but little Lord Jesus no crying he makes. I love thee, Lord Jesus, look down from the sky and stay by my cradle til morning is nigh. Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask thee to stay close by me forever, and love me, I pray. Bless all the dear children in thy tender care, and take us to heaven, to live with thee there."

"And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying," Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men." Luke 2: 13,14 A prophecy mentioned so many times in the Old Testament had been fulfilled with the birth of this special child!

In Matthew 2 Herod sent the wisemen to Bethlehem to search for the child. The star which they saw in the east led them to the place where the young child was! Verses 10 and 11 say, "When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary, his mother, and fell down and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh."

Christ said in Matthew 5:16, " Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." He came as the light of the world and commanded all of us to spread His gospel to the ends of the earth, so we should remember this as we celebrate the coming of our Lord!

As Christmas Day approaches keep the greatest gift of all in mind, Jesus! He said in Luke 11: 9-10, " And I say unto you, ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." Yes, this greatest gift of all is free for all who are willing to receive it! Isn't that wonderful? There's nothing else so readily available to all men as the precious love of Jesus. This is the greatest gift anyone could receive at Christmas or any other day of the year, and it's a gift that will outlast all others! Have a blessed Christmas everyone!

Yes, keep Christmas in your heart all year long! Even though we celebrate His coming only one day a year, we should honor His name and live for Him every day of the year!

Another beautiful Christmas song is " Angels We Have Heard On High." The last verse says, " See him in a manger laid, whom the choirs of angels praise. Mary, Joseph, lend your aid, while our hearts in love we raise." Christ is the center, the heart of Christmas!

A song familiar to many during the Christmas season is " Silent Night." The manger scene comes alive as we sing the soothing words, " Silent night, holy night! All is calm, all is bright. Round yon virgin, mother and child, holy infant so tender and mild, sleep in heavenly peace, sleep in heavenly peace. Silent night, holy night. Shepherds quake at the sight. Glories stream from heaven afar. Heavenly hosts sing alleluia, Christ the Savior is born! Christ the Savior is born. Silent night, holy night! Son of God, love's pure light. Radiant beams from thy holy face, with the dawn of redeeming grace, Jesus, Lord, at thy birth, Jesus, Lord, at thy birth."

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and will share its true meaning with others. May God bless you and your loved ones abundantly in the year ahead!
