Hi my name is Debbie and welcome to my homepage. I'm a teacher who has succumbed to the magic of the world wide web. My life has been a busy one and will continue to be that way since there are so many things that I still want to explore and learn, this world of bits and bytes being one of them.

I enjoy lots of things and generally don't have time to do them all. My main interests are computers, travelling, the outdoors and of course watching TV. I grew up in rural Saskatchewan and am a country girl at heart. Before embarking on a career in education I took secretarial training and worked in a hardware store for a few years.

I decided that I would like to take training in another field and became a teacher. I received my Bachelor of Education degree at the University of Saskatchewan. Since that time I have been employed as a teacher in Northern Saskatchewan. I have experience teaching all levels plus experience in the area of special needs and administration. Currently I am on educational leave to further my training. I am hoping to complete a Masters program in distance education.

Throughout my life I have been involved in some interesting business ventures, namely, raising worms for sale in the sport-fishing industry, market gardening and doing home parties selling t-shirts and the like. I also owned and operated a fly-in tourist camp for a number of years. This was a very interesting time as it gave me the opportunity to meet all sorts of people from all over North America and even some from Europe. (Sorry, no special packages as I sold the camps!) That sort of sums it up for now.

I hope to meet many of you 'at a distance' and maybe some of you in person, somewhere-sometime.
