The age by decades are as follows: The number 90 or upwards in years 9, 6 women and 3 men, precisely the same number of persons and purportions of sex as last year. The oldest is Daniel B. Tichenor of Sylvan 97 years. The others one each from Webster, York, Saline, Lyndon, and 4 from Ypsilanti City. From, 80 to 90, 25, 70 to 80 24, Under 70, 25. Age wanting in 3 cases.

In years resident: Nine had lived in the county 70 or more years, the longest being Mrs. Polly (Pease) Ball, mother of Hon. Wm. of Hamburg, 77 years. Thirty others had lived in the county 60 or more years.

The reports are much less complete this year than for the previous one. As you will note, Ypsilanti City had 24 deaths to Ann Arbor City 7, and Webster 11. This is simply from incomplete reports that the compiler has been able to gather. From his own location he is able to make nearly complete returns, but from other he is compelled to rely on the reports in the papers of the county, which of coarse do not give the details always of age and residence, which are necessary to enable the compiler accurately to determine who are pioneers and eligible to record in the necrological report. Could he receive from every locality such a report as Mr. Isaac Terry the vice president from that town anually sends to the record would be...
