This application is being developed for internal usage of our company. This project gives on line information of the members like when they joined the club, what are their hobbies etc. All the members are given their email account and the password. Whenever they want to access the system they have to enter their email and password to verify themselves as the valid user. Password can be modified by Password module at any time as and when required by the member. We are developing this system using NCA (Network Computing Architecture ) concepts. We are using Oracle Web Application Server as middle ware and Oracle 8.03 as the database.

I was involved in -

· Developing 15 Database Packages
· Installation and configuration Web Application Server
· Working with new feature of Oracle 8 like object oriented databas

The application was a real time system developed in Sun Microsystems UK, being used in Sun Microsystems offices throughout Europe. It was a conversion from the traditional character based Forms 3.0 to GUI Forms 4.5 running in Character base. The project dealt with various Inventories, Finance etc throughout Sun Offices across Europe.

I was involved in -

· Converting the application from Forms 3.0 to Forms 4.5
· Converting several User exits in Pro *C of Forms 3.0 to Forms 4.5 (like talking from Oracle Database to Sybase Database)
· Testing the whole application to maintain the same functionality as it was in Forms 3.0
· Developed several HTML forms to incorporate the Web requirement for the application
· Written CGI scripts also to manipulate the HTML form processing
· Written Stored procedures, functions and Database triggers for backend processing.
· Producing various HTML pages
· Releasing the Old application after making changes based on the requirements.

The project is designed to help in all activities of Scottish Power Plc Scotland, UK in helping to achieve its goal to provide a common functionality for the different suppliers of electricity as part of their Change 1998 programme. The project was maintaining the various suppliers of electricity and the form in which they were charging to their customers. After getting all the data from the suppliers it was being populated in the unique format, so that to maintain a standard format for the electricity regulation in UK.

In a team of 10 , I was Involved in

· Development and Testing.
· Preparing technical specifications for 10 modules.
· Backend development in Oracle Version 7.3.
· Written batch processing
· PL/SQL stored procedures, functions and packages to move bulk data and other necessary processing. The software is designed to help in all customer related services of North West plc UK. Billing and collection for the various reasons can be made through the application.

I was involved in -

· Developed Work Order Generation, Completion, Master Bill Printing, Identification of sensitive addresses batch processes etc. using Pro*C and Forms 4.5
· Development of Batch processing job for the project.
· Development of Forms in Forms 4.5 using features of alerts, libraries, VBX controls and other GUI features.
· Modification of some of the database triggers and procedures for the application.
· Working extensively on DBMS PIPE package to call the external 3GL features from Forms 4.5.

This involved study and identification of conversion methodologies for Forms 3.0 to Forms 4.5. There are three methods to convert Forms 3.0 application to Forms 4.5.

I was involved in -

· Using default generator(f45gen) provided by Oracle
· Giving inputs for manual conversion of Forms 3.0 application using Reverse engineering
· Developing the standard procedures to convert the application.
· Re-engineering the database and forms to generate developer 2000 specific executables using Designer 2000.

In a team of 4 , I was responsible for the conversion methodology formulation.

· Also used DBMS packages like DBMS_PIPE_DBMS_ALERT to communicate to the various session and alert the user for specific job.

I was involved in -
· Development of many reports for the application using Pro*C.
· Creation of several user exits to incorporate complex operations and provide DDL operation.
· Development of 20 forms and 8 reports for this application.
