This eight pointer was a young 195 poundbruiser in full rut I shot as he was in pursuit of a doe. The cabin andthe room shown are where I had spent the previous night. The pictures showit in the midst of disassembly for moving to my new property where it willbecome the centerpoint of the house I intend to build. It is about 175years old.

I almost passed up this six pointer asI had seen some much larger deer earlier in the year.  I had alreadypassed up a four pointer a few days earlier and the perfectly matched setof antlers on this eating size buck were too tempting. He is the firstdeer I actually still hunted. All the others were taken from my portablestand. The picture is pretty poor but I'll try to load a nicer pictureof the mounted rack. I also had this doe feed directly under my stand openingmorning.
The mounted eight pointer shown here isone I killed during the 1995 season. He is my largest deer (antler size)to date. I had gone to hunt with my dad and at his insistance, was huntingout of his stand. I felt kinda' bad about killing his deer but he was ashappy as if he had gotten it himself. I had soaked one of those self activatinghandwarmers with doe pee and the smell was drifting around and he followedit in.

Here is another view of the ten pointeryou saw on my first page. I took him during the 94 season on the propertywhere the cabin came from. The rifle is a sporter I built myself from a1909 Argentine Mauser chambered in 7.65. I killed three bucks with it beforeswitching to my current Ruger 77 chambered in 25-06. I used it to takethe the eight pointer on the wall and the six pointer.

Here is a buck taken in October of 1999.  It is my first buck taken with my muzzleloader,  a Christmas gift from my wife a few years ago.  He dropped instantly from a saboted 240 grain JHP.

Well folks,  I'm finally back to updating this page.   I also have another picturepage up that I will be put pictures taken with my Camtrakker .

Here is a sample of what I will have.  It is an arial photo of propertywhich was taken in 1964.  By having such an old photo,  I cansee the lay of the land before it grew over.
