DC & Powers was started as a joke in April of 1998 by Mr. Moon. Mr. Moon is Dennis and Terry's Modern American Literature teacher. One day Dennis and Terry were walking down the hall together and Mr. Moon said "Hey it's D.C. and Powers. That could be a band." So then we decided to write down some names of songs and we decided that we should record them. So on May first, we went to the Eric Kawa Studios in Mount Prospect and recorded four songs onto our demo tape. Two copies were released and are now highly collectable. We have since changed our name to Demiloaf.
