Exterior consisted of a simple array of four loudspeakers suspended over a small park.

The speaker array was usually silent, but occasionally sustained tones were produced.

Changing phase and level relationships between the four speakers gave the tones a dynamic spatial quality.

Exterior was installed outside the Tin Sheds Gallery in Sydney in 1998.
