Souding Buoys: A Sound Sculpture Proposal

Sounding Buoys is a sound sculpture proposal by Nigel Helyer and Densil Cabrera.

Three buoys make sounds in response to wave action:

The Organ Buoy has three organ pipes which are sounded by puffs of air caused by water movement.

The Carillon Buoy has three bells that are struck when waves make three big springs wobble.

The Cochlear Buoy has three horns, the lower mouths of which are opened and closed as water rises and falls, producing 'bong'-like sounds.
