What's a MUni: ? Well its not exactly something you can just buy off the shelf. Actually there is one manufacturer I know of: Pashley are good for starters, but a lot of MUni's are custom built by individuals.
Simon's first MUni: These days, Muni 'pros' are using 26" Mountain bike wheels, but being new to Unicycling altogether I wanted a bit of an all-rounder, so I bought a 24" DM Ringmaster in glorious yellow: |

My old MUni was basically a standard Uni with a nobbly tyre fitted which gives a good grip on muddy or rough terrain. It's a 24"x1.75 Michelin "Jogger". The important thing to note is that essentially it has flat(ish) part around the center, making indoor/road riding a bit more comfortable.

Out of the possible options when buying the D.M. I chose the Viscount seat, which was the mid-priced option, and so far I have had no grumbles. I added some leather for extra protection front and back whilst learning, now its kinda falling off.. The plan is to replace the steel bolts at the bottom with something a whole lot cooler, like titanium. Having looked at prices however, steel might just have to do for a while:

Fancy a MUni ? Maybe you should look at my DMATU. Or just go back to a normal life.
