| Wobbly wheeled bikes: |
| Okay, before you go and say it its not a unicycle alright ? So what's it doing here ? Well by my calculations its pretty funny and so are unicycles (to some), and it generally fits in with the unicycle/juggling/entertainment leisure activities, and besides I am not going to open up a new cycling site for it - cyclists would ridicule me, whereas the average unicyclist will understand the reason for that something a little bit different. You wanna know more, check out the WWB FAQ. So here it is, modeled by Isabelle, the IOU member who can't yet unicycle, in glorious technicolour |

| Now for the Wobbly Wheeled bike FAQ
Why ?
Because it was wet and windy one weekend, I had seen such a bike when I was younger, and thought it might be fun to make. I had all the necessary bits, so I just set to work. How does it perform ? It wobbles, that's for sure, its not clear from photographs, eventually I might try to put a video clip on this site, but remember the wheels don't go in sync, they go allover. Its a weird sensation, it makes you laugh uncontrollably, Mike reckons its my best invention to date ! Where can I get one ? As far as I know you can't buy one off the shelf, you'd have to go to a bike shop and ask them to build off-centered wheels - however they'd stare at you and tell you it couldn't be done (like a local bike shop told me) however the best advice is to ignore them and make your own ! I know it works. Okay, yeah, so how do I make one ? Follow my step by step guide ! What next ? Well wobbly wheeled bikes are one thing, but hey, lets face it, I like unicycling a lot too. So it stands to reason that I am going to make a uni with an off centered wheel - yes I agree, its most probably been done, just try and stop me though ! |
